Calendula (cah-LEN-jula) essential oil extract has been used to treat a variety of skin ailments, including infections, fungus, rashes and wounds. It’s often used to reduce pain and inflammation.

Calendula is also a cover crop!  Cover crops are at the heart of our story when it comes to regenerative farming. It's just one of the many cover crops we use to infuse nutrients back into the soil.

I use the Cedar Meadow CBD salve, which really helps relieve the muscle cramps I get in my neck and shoulders. While it would be nice to have someone else around to rub it in, it's always worth my own effort to apply it. I find the knotted and cramped up muscles relaxing and, with that, the discomfort is gone. It seems that the relief lasts several hours at least. I keep the small jars around in different places where I spend time just so I don't have to go hunting one down when needed. The Cedar Meadow "Relief" lotion is also good, but my personal preference is the salve because it seems to have some cooling effect also where I apply it. Great product. I hope they are successful so they'll be around for a long time!
